Volkswagen Group brings its portfolio: including Volkswagen, Audi, and Porsche, along with Škoda, SEAT, Bentley, Lamborghini, Ducati, and several others, to the Middle East, alongside commercial brands such as Scania, MAN, and Navistar. Each brand operates independently with its own distinct character, while together covering the full spectrum of mobility: from motorcycles and efficient compact cars to premium luxury vehicles.

The challenge

Rethinking used cars website for 9 markets in GCC and tailor made Dashboard in the background as a tool for providing high level customer experience and service delivery.

Discovery & strategy

Through the series of design thinking workshops in 2 weeks various stakeholders (Project Sponsors, Used cars Sales Managers, Customer Experience Managers, Dealers, Accounts) brought their expertise to the table and provided critical inputs for defining scope of work for the tailor made backoffice and the website for promotionnof the used cars.

The main outputs from this phase included:

  • Translating business requests into features and requirements
  • Feature definition and documentation
  • Feature prioritization and release management

We worked closely with stakeholders to evaluate the business impact of each feature, balance priorities with available budget, and align team allocation accordingly.

Web (re)design

The website redesign was guided by the insights gathered during discovery. The objective was to create a modern, intuitive, and mobile-friendly platform that effectively showcases the used car inventory while reinforcing trust and transparency for potential buyers.

Key aspects included:

  • Designing a clean, conversion-focused interface for car search and browsing
  • Improving navigation for different user groups (dealers, customers, internal teams)
  • Ensuring seamless integration with back-office systems to keep listings accurate and up to date

Custom web development

The redesigned website required a robust custom development approach. Our team delivered a fully responsive platform optimized for performance, scalability, and security.

  • Custom search and filtering functionality for used cars

Product Design for the Internal Business Application (Dashboard)

Parallel to the public website, we designed a back-office dashboard tailored for internal users. The goal was to simplify operations, provide visibility into sales performance, and streamline communication between stakeholders.

  • Customer experience monitoring tools
  • Simplified inventory upload and management
  • Reporting and analytics dashboards for different roles

Custom internal business application development

Back in 2018–2019, the growing demand for digital transformation in the UAE created an opportunity to innovate beyond traditional processes. We developed a custom internal application that became a cornerstone of operations for used car management.

The application delivered:

  • End-to-end inventory and sales workflow automation
  • Integration with existing systems to reduce manual work
