FAQ

What if I need a dedicated designer on the project for a longer period of time?

We refer to long-term collaborations as retainers. Based on our experience, many clients benefit from having a part-time designer integrated into their team, dedicated to ongoing product design tasks. This approach ensures consistent support and seamless execution of design needs over time.

Who is responsible for the priorities in the retainer model?

Besides the convenience of the direct communication with our team members, clients have the responsibility to manage priorities and plan deliverables.

What ’s the difference between a retainer and 1 off engagement type?

It’s mainly the duration of the engagement. Retainer model is more suitable for more mature products and teams compared to the 1 off where the engagement is shorted and typically scope for the design team is smaller until the first round of investment is secured.

What exactly is the test period?

The initial phase of our collaboration typically lasts 4 to 6 weeks. During this time, we focus on building a strong foundation by understanding each other’s working styles, communication preferences, and collaboration dynamics. This phase is essential for establishing a solid basis for a longer-term partnership built on mutual confidence and alignment.

Who will work on the project?

Our team of Product Designer and Project Manager as a point of contact, when needed. If the project requirements require other services (for ex. product showcase/reel or similar type of video production, social media visuals, marketing collaterals), we can include other designers as an addition to the team.

Can I get the custom quote?

Yes, prices given on the page above serve as a reference from what we’ve seen so far in working with start ups, scale ups and enterprizes. We’ll be happy to prepare and present a custom quote in line with project needs and scope. This might be in particular convenient when product design is purchased in a bundle with other services.

Regarding the costs and fees, what’s not included?

We deliver the work in the Figma project in your account so you could have ownership over the file and the visibility on the deliverables. This means cost for the paid seats (Dev mode) in Figma is not included in our service fee.

Do you participate in the user testing process?

Yes, our team can contribute in the phase of collecting feedback from the users not just by analysing data from analytics tools, but also from the (un)moderated sessions with users.
