Podyx is the first software application built specifically for podcast studios. Created by studio owners for podcast studio owners, it offers everything needed to streamline daily operations and boost revenue. Our design team was part of the product development since the very beginning and responsible for all design related tasks from the branding, promotional website to the product itself.

The challenge

The idea for Podyx originated from the need to optimize processes at Poddster - a pioneering network of video podcast production studios and Dubai's first podcasting community established in Dubai back in 2020 and recently expanded to Singapore. With more than 500 podcasts and 1000 active creators, Poddster continues to set standards, and drive the podcast industry forward, cementing its position as the preferred choice for anyone looking to start or grow their show. As we delved deeper into the market and customer needs, it became clear that a tailor-made software application was essential for success. Podyx is used by studios from Middle East, Europe, APAC and USA.

Branding

As we were well familiar with Poddster, it was a pleasure and a challenge at the same time to design a brand identity for Podyx. We took the brand name and the vision to create logo mark, that was further developed into a brand device. Color scheme is modern, playful and calm and flexible enough to stay fun when combined with the brand device.

Web design and development

Website was one of the key tools we used to start the onboarding journey for the Studio Owners and end customers, booking availability and management for the end customers as well as the tool used explore the market interest in this kind of niche product. Straightforward and simple website with a clear CTA helped us accquire customers, promote new features and present the roadmap. Due to the nature of the business, we suggested Webflow as a solution that enables non-tech staff to add/remove sections/pages on a website.

Product design

From the experience with the first Poddster studio, we've gathered from the ground insights into needs and pains of the Product is built around feature set for the Studio owners. They have the access to the wide range of features for their podcast studio management: from the Dashboard with analytics and booking overview, over studio, services and add ons setup, to the booking management options.
