The challenge

Studio Direction has designed a new website that reflects its unique aesthetic for another real estate development in the Middle East - Jubail Island. This sanctuary away from busy city life offers gorgeous coastal sceneries, and dynamic ecosystem of Jubail’s native mangroves and flamingoes gathering on the beach.

Web design

The visual direction for the website began with the color scheme, which we used to shape the storytelling across its three main sections. The sitemap featured three navigation pages, each assigned its own color theme.

The first, Awaken, highlights the island’s unique natural setting just outside Abu Dhabi, with sand gold symbolizing the richness of its wildlife and landscapes.

The second, Discover, focuses on the master plan, showcasing the different properties and neighborhoods, and is paired with sky blue to convey calmness.

The third, Settle, presents detailed information about the properties, including townhouses and interior renderings.

Designing real estate websites often follows the same formula—highlighting amenities and showcasing future properties. While effective, this approach can make many projects feel alike. In this case, however, the client’s vision was different: the development sits within a lush sanctuary of unique flora and fauna, and the priority was to let nature take center stage. Rather than leading with apartments and townhouses, the design emphasized the island’s natural character, expressed through a calm and simple visual language.

Custom website development

The website was built with a lightweight, flexible structure that allowed for smooth integration of visuals, animations, video and other content across the three color-themed sections. Optimized for performance and scalability, it ensures a seamless experience on any device while leaving room for future updates as the project evolves.
